To get a closer picture of him, I went into the changing room and locked the door, to his dismay. He was warned about the faulty lock and thanks to me we were locked inside for a good 5 minutes before their staff heard my cries and let us out.
Eugene just stood there and -_-''' the whole time. How helpful.

A softball cupcake with his name on it. But instead of his no. 18 they ran out of green icing and gave him the unlucky 13 :S

There was a cake underneath the cap!! But no one had the heart to eat it.

24th SEA Games Experience

This was the most memorable holiday I ever had. It started off with a Bangkok trip with Fandrie:

S$7 (?!) sharks fin in a food court. Fin real or not I dunno la, but it's good enough for me.

"Hmph. You eat shark. Don't friend you already."

Then I bravely headed to Korat for the SEA games while Fan left for Isreal.

Red carpet sia.. looks a leetle beet sleezy.

The hotel even had their own cow!

The Tom Yam Kung was unforgetable! So was the Pad Thai!

Jennifer and Wong Ah Teck were great company.

He pops The Question Part II

Took down the previous post because it was so depressing. Don't want to think about it, because there are other better things to talk about, like:



HE POPPED THE QUESTION AGAIN, AND THIS TIME IT'S FOR REAL



Once again, I was sleeping when it happened.



"............will........... me......." he said while nudging me to wake up



"....huh..?"



".....will..... marry....... me....."



"oh..... (omg this question again... diao...)- got ready to roll away and return to dream land-



".... ok ok I kneel down okay" -and he awkwardly tried to kneel on one knee, ON the bed-



"Will you marry me?"



"....Er... ring... where's my ring " I answered while waving my hand at him sleepily.. half awake and quite amused at the sight of a huge guy trying to keep his balance on one knee on a waterbed. Even sleeping on one is difficult, trust me!



"There! The ring is there!"



My eyes shot open fully and I felt something around my left ring finger. He had slipped it when I was asleep.

".... Ha.....?" I tried to focus hard on the ring but it was dark and I couldn't really tell what it was exactly.

He was still staring at me sheepishly and waiting for an answer.

"Er.... You're not kidding me right.... Is this plastic...?"

"What?! No!"

"Ok ok, turn on the light......................."

"Oh my god... Is this for real....???"

".............................. So ???????"

"Er.................... ok.............ok................ Wait..... Aren't you supposed to slip on the ring AFTER I say yes???!!!!"

-he shrugs with a triumphant look on his face-

So this is how I got proposed to. Once in a life time thing, and he did it backwards.

Apparently, he was also extremely worried for a long time that the stone is not big enough, and said he wanted to get one as big as his fist if he could. -_O ??!!!

But I really do love the ring. Thank you dear :)

Eugene's Birthday and other 2007 Highlights

It was Eugene's birthday on 18th Nov and there was a cake waiting for him after we got back from Siok Kan's wedding on 17 Nov at around 11. 45pm and 32 seconds. He never had a clue on the way home!

See his paiseh face. When he opened the door and saw the cake he refused to step in and I was stuck outside for a good 5 seconds.

It was Sandy who trotted over to Holland V's NYDC to get the cake.

Birthday Lunch! Must eat mee sua for birthday. Or mee sua substitute - shanghai ramen with cream of chicken soup zhnged with mushrooms and carrot.

Eugene should've worn his gold shirt, gold tie, gold pants and gold shoes to go with my gold dress.

This is the first time I've ever worn a raincoat in my life!

5 minutes later from this pic, raincoat ended up in the bin. So environmentally unfriendly... I'm ashamed of myself ]:

I've could've danced all night.

Champions!!! First time I ran in years. And for a $5 Popular Bookshop voucher each. We all agreed it was worth it =D
